This commercial was made at Samaka Studio for Nana, a delivery company, featuring their camel character. Made under a tight deadline, the concept follows the camel racing across the city on a motorcycle, trying to beat a floating mint leaf to the ground. I animated two shots within the project.
Blocking (Reference)
Blocked out the motorcycle turn in the final shot using Blender, creating a 3D reference to guide the timing and motion of the 2D animation.
Rough Animation
Blocked out the timing and key poses across all three shots, using the Blender reference to nail the motorcycle turn's motion.
Clean-up
Refined the rough animation into final line work, polishing the motion to hold up despite the project's tight turnaround.
