This is a graduation project from an animation course I attended back in 2019. I had just watched Gravity Falls, so I was inspired by the idea of a magical forest that might contain evil creatures. 

I created a short story about a boy who awakens his inner power and defeats the evil creature with an epic sword.

and started with the Concept frames and charcter design.

Then sketched The background and made sure that it will fit the camera movment.

Did also rough animations and guides and made sure to keep it energetic to convey the epic mood.
